Staying in a youth hostel is a great way to meet other travellers and more oftne than not other students who can offer you advice on things to see and places to go which you may not find out through books and brochures. Youth hostels also tend to have more of a party atmosphere and often have organised entertainment or nights out to help you to make friends and enjoy your stay.
