To coincide with the 10th annual World Book Day (UK and Ireland) 1st March 2007, Intute: Arts and Humanities present a Limelight on the History of the Book.
This brings together a sample of the records in Intute relating to the history of writing, manuscripts, printed books, publishing and electronic books.
The structure of the presentation broadly follows a typical syllabus for the History of the Book in Western Europe (but taking into account the historical background for the transmission of text in antiquity).
