University News: University of Wolverhampton Are Ready to Welcome Open Day Visitors
Prospective students hoping to get a feel for university are invited to an Open Day at the University of Wolverhampton on Saturday, November 10 2007.

The event is taking place at the City Campus between 10am and 4pm.

Visitors will have the opportunity to get information about applying to University in 2008 and beyond and there will also be information about courses starting in January.

Almost 1,000 people have already pre-booked their place to ensure fast entry to this popular event where people can meet prospective lecturers and academic experts in the Subject Fair, look around the up-to-date teaching, learning and social facilities, and book tours to the University’s other campuses at Walsall, Telford and Compton.

There are also tours of student accommodation and experts will be available to talk about money to study, careers and more in the Student Support Zone.

Keith Hall, Open Day Co-ordinator, said: “Open Days are a great way of getting a feel for the University and the subjects you want to study. You can meet tutors, talk to our students, and see our great facilities. It's no surprise that two-thirds of visitors tell us they are more likely to apply to us after they have attended one of our Open Days.”

For details call the enquiries team on 01902 322222 or email enquiries@wlv.ac.uk For details about the Open Day, including how to pre-book, visit www.wlv.ac.uk/opendays
