Enjoy the Big Screen Experience At Home!
Enjoy the big screen experience at home with Epson’s portable, plug ‘n’ play EMP-TWD10 Home Entertainment Centre

With advanced DVD features and amazing sound performance, the EMP-TWD10 is ideal for watching films, enjoying video games and sports on the big screen.

Epson, worldwide leader in the video-projector market for the past 6 years* and the most innovative brand on the market, announces the launch of the EMP-TWD10, an HD Ready Home Entertainment Centre for instant big screen enjoyment of films, sport and video games. The easy installation process means you simply need to plug it in, insert your DVD and within a couple of seconds you could be watching your favourite film.

Anyone searching for a hassle-free way to share the big screen experience with family and friends will love the EMP-TWD10. It is a truly portable home entertainment centre that has been designed for ease of use whilst delivering the highest-quality images and stereo sound. It’s easily connected to your computer, games console, digital camera or USB memory storage device. What’s more the EMP-TWD10 comes complete with its own 80” home cinema wide screen which rolls up easily for storage when not in use. All you need for the complete Home Cinema experience in one box.

You can use your EMP-TWD10 almost anywhere in your home - simply carry it between rooms and, with just one power lead, you can start watching your DVDs without the worry of reconnecting a host of cables. The base (DVD reader and speakers) can rotate 180° allowing easy access to the DVD and the left and right speakers swap automatically to ensure optimal sound quality. You can project a 60” image from less than 1.5 metres away and when not in use, the projector and screen are easily packed to be neatly stored away.

All Epson’s home cinema technologies have been integrated into the EMP-TWD10: 3LCD technology and the innovative Epson Cinema Filter which ensures you can benefit from bright, vibrant and sharp images on a big screen, even in lighter rooms. The 4 stereo speakers provide high-definition sound to complete your own home cinema experience.

Changing the setting couldn’t be more convenient, with a control to help you to get the picture you want. Five different colour modes mean you can chose the ideal setting for your room. For example, Living Room Mode is ideal for lighter rooms while Theatre Mode will provide the best quality in a darker environment. The newly integrated Game mode ensures an optimal transmission speed between the video game console and the EMP-TWD10, meaning that players always stay in the midst of the action.

In addition to DVD viewing (including DivX compatibility), the EMP-TWD10 can be used to display a wide choice of multimedia content on the big screen: PC, TV tuner and set top box, games console and karaoke microphone. The USB interface allows digital pictures (jpeg) and films (DivX) to be displayed, and music (wma, mp3) to be listened to without any complicated installation process. Holiday pictures can be shared with family and friends whilst simultaneously listening to your favourite songs.

Graeme Davidson, Product Manager for Home Video Projectors, Epson UK, says, “The Epson EMP-TWD10 brings big screen fun to the home. It combines contemporary design with superior imaging and sound technology. It is the ideal home entertainment centre for families because it is so easy to set up and use. It is the perfect way to watch films, listen to music, play computer games or enjoy a slideshow of family photos and videos.”
