Career News: How To Choose the Right Career
Exclusive careers clinic for those considering business and accountancy

Chat date: 30th April
Chat time: 3pm

Choosing the right career can be quite daunting at 16, or 18, or 21...or any age really. From careers advisors to older siblings and parents, everyone seems to have the answer but how do you make sure you have all the right advice? If you're currently searching for the career path that's right for you, why not log on to our webchat where we'll be hosting an exclusive business and accounting careers clinic.

Our special guest Lynsey Slack, currently working at Merrill Lynch, is going to share her experiences of training for a CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification on the job after completing her degree at university. We'll also have Dave Mack, Manager of Revenue Process Development at Ford Motors. Ford were CIMA's employer of the year in 2007 due to the sheer number of opportunities they offer to school leavers.

Dave will be explaining what routes there are into business if you don't want to go to university and would rather start earning a wage straight away.

As it's a live webchat you'll be able to submit any questions you have about the benefits of a career in business and what it takes to be successful in the industry. Our guests will also be able to offer insight into how to get into the industry from different educational backgrounds. If you want to find out about the opportunities available and advice on finding the career to suit you, why not log on and send in your questions?

CIMA student Lynsey Slack and Dave Mack Manager of Revenue Process Development at Ford Motors joins us live online at Webchats.tv on 30th April at 3pm to discuss careers in business and accountancy
