All About the Arts, London’s most innovative arts marketing company, has this month launched the online version of the Student Culture Vulture Booklet at www.studentculturevulture.co.uk
 Students can flip through the virtual magazine to find events that are certain to satisfy their cultural cravings.
The aim of the Student Culture Vulture is to wake up London students to the extraordinary kaleidoscope of culture which London offers them, demonstrate how little it can cost compared to other pursuits and how much fun it is to be culturally promiscuous. We firmly believe that, armed with concise information and some financial incentives, there are thousands of students who would jump at the chance to become student ‘Culture Vultures'.
Student Culture Vulture has had a presence on campuses this year in booklet form, which we will continue alongside the website at the start of the next academic year. Students responded to the scheme with a sense of relief that there was finally a publication which promotes events that are both entertaining and inspiring, and appeals to those who are willing to be imaginative with their spare time.
The scheme promotes fantastic student ticket and membership offers for a mixture of top cultural institutions such as the Southbank Centre as well as more independent and diverse organisations. The content of each edition has a focus on a particular art form, showcases top student talent and hand picks highlights from the forthcoming London cultural calendar for an ‘AATA Recommends’ page.
Jamie Colson, Director of All About the Arts, is excited to be spearheading the Culture Vulture campaign. “Student’s are bombarded with financial incentives to drink beer and eat burgers - we wanted to promote discounts that could actually contribute to the education of London’s students. London is such a culturally vibrant city to study in – we want to make sure its students can take full advantage of this.”
