Kay Burley
“I knew I wanted to be a journalist whilst I was still at school and would have loved the opportunity to enter a competition like this. The Sky Young Journalist Award aims to find and celebrate the very best young journalistic talent in the UK. We want to discover a rising star, someone who has a real nose for news and can turn a story into a national scoop.

“I know first-hand how hard it can be to break into the industry, and this competition gives young people a unique opportunity to get perhaps their first taste of real news reporting. Hopefully it will set some of them on their way to successful careers as journalists.”
