Our reputation for achievement, encouragement and support attracts thousands of students every year. We put an emphasis on excellence and encouraging ambition, which is why we have an exceptional record of student success. Our exam pass rates are among the fastest rising in the UK, with 100% A Level pass rates for two years running, and we send more students to university than any other local school or college. We are so confident of the quality of our teaching that we even offer a success guarantee - if you attend 95% of your lessons and complete all of your coursework on time we’ll ensure you gain your qualification. Our most recent Ofsted inspection was a great success, confirming that we have high and improving pass rates, a well established and successful Sixth Form Centre, a wide range of specialist student support and advice services - including our Enquiries & Guidance team, who have been awarded the Matrix award for the quality of their support - plus accessible tutors who are highly regarded by students. We have over 600 expert staff dedicated to making a positive difference to your life. If you're thinking about heading to university, we are linked with a number of major regional universities to ensure our students have every opportunity to progress, with some of our courses leading directly on to the final year of a degree. We don't think money should stand in the way of coming to college, so f you are in Year 11, achieve five or more GCSE A*-B grades and enrol on a full-time A Level or equivalent Level 3 programme at Bedford College you can receive a Bursary for Educational Excellence of up to £1,000. If all that doesn't sound good enough, we've also been awarded five Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) awards by the Government in: House Building; Supervisory Management; Plumbing Services; Health & Social Care; and our latest Skills for Energy, which is the first CoVE in the country with a focus on sustainable energy in building and vehicles.
