There are many good reasons for choosing to study at Farnborough College of Technology. The college has exceptional teaching and learning facilities providing first class courses with a strong vocational orientation. Add to this a modern style campus, a warm and friendly atmosphere and a wide variety of flexible courses for people of all ages, and you'll see why Farnborough has developed such an excellent reputation. The college offers a wide range of further and higher education courses. Students can choose from full and part-time courses at AS/A2 level, AVCE, GNVQ, NVQ, National Diploma and Access. Our undergraduate courses include Environmental Management, Management and Finance, Leisure, Hospitality, Engineering, Computing, and Media and Visual Arts. In addition to these well-established and nationally acclaimed degree and HND courses the College offers two new Foundation Degree courses in Motor Sports and Environment and a number of postgraduate courses. All degree courses are validated by the University of Surrey. The college is committed to lifelong learning and offers a comprehensive programme of courses which spans many different subjects and provides learning opportunities for the whole community. These part- time day and evening courses are designed to help people of all ages who are keen to learn something new to improve career prospects or make most of their leisure time. Students have access to a vast range of facilities to support them at all stages of their studies. The new library complex has over 50,000 books, 14000 videos and comprehensive range of journals, audio-visual materials and electronic information services. Students can also take advantage of the Teaching and Learning Technology Centre where they can use the multimedia PCs to access the College network, search the Internet or develop their IT Skills or use one of the many flexible learning packages.
